@VBMillennial @ChrisMartzWX Lol what? The chart is showing heat waves - Exactly about what you were confidently making your claims in your previous post. Now you want to change the subject to... heat waves, but while only considering nighttime temperatures?

On this date in 1907, it was 101° in Nebraska and 100° in Kansas. The weather has always been crazy.

@madeformarch @kerrancejames Agreed. High Point is probably the only “Cinderella team” alive now. Also kinda depends what you consider a Cinderella team. Would Texas qualify? NC state 2 years ago made the final 4 as an 11 seed

A reasonable take sir. We’ll agree to see things a little differently, but I understand your point of view and will concede we are still early days here, another 1-2 years of data will confirm or deny this entire debate. Refreshing to have a reasonable discussion with someone on this app without any name calling hah. Appreciate it my man.

If High Point doesn't win tomorrow, the "never gonna be another Cinderella" narrative will be relentless. But please remember Siena, Furman, Kennesaw State, Wright State and Cal Baptist all put up a fight. Akron and Hofstra for a while, too. Didn't win. Doesn't mean they can't.

I can see why some think it’s headed that way. But watching these games, there’s maybe a possession or 2 from this narrative being squashed. Sienna almost beat Duke yesterday, that would’ve been the biggest upset in sports history. There’s a few others that were close as well. Wasn’t like every favorite won by 20+

We can wait, I’m cool with that. My point largely being, the pushback last year in this debate was “it’s just an outlier, wait another year.” Now we have more of the same. We can continue to shift the goalposts back until we have more data, but also don’t think it’s rocket science to see where it’s headed.

There is a reason why Steelers players reportedly 'universally' want Aaron Rodgers back this year & the team is not only willing to wait for Rodgers to officially return but also reportedly did not pursue any other veteran free agent QB options this offseason such as Malik Willis & Kyler Murray. Not only do the Steelers likely have a strong indication from Rodgers himself that he's going to be returning this year based on their conversations with him, but they (especially the players) know he was far from the biggest issue that the Steelers had on offense last year, and if anything, was one of the biggest reasons they even had the levels of success they did have as he got them to be a top 15 scoring offense in the league last year despite having at best a bottom 3 WR room in the NFL in 2025. These are professional football players; they know what good QB play looks like & doesn't look like, and it appears everyone from the players to the coaches to the front office in Pittsburgh is in utter lockstep on this: We want Rodgers back & think he can still play. They know Aaron's football intellect & arm talent combined with a (much) better WR room and better offensive play-calling absolutely could and likely would lead to a more productive season in Aaron's 2nd season in Pittsburgh compared to his 1st, and easily gives the Steelers their best chance to make a run in January out of all the QB options available to them this offseason. In a season where PIT is clearly attempting to win now, Rodgers is the clear option at QB1 this year, and the players know it.

I can’t believe that Trump just joked about Pearl Harbor while sitting next to Japan’s prime minister at the White House. What an absolute embarrassment!

@kerrancejames If the definition of Cinderella has fundamentally shifted to putting up a fight, but not winning, then we’ve already lost Cinderella.

It’s a practice field, tf does it matter it’s not like they’re splitting the field in half while they practice 😂. You’re incredibly stupid, every single person over the last 10 years has changed on that team minus Boswell, Heyward and coach Tomlin. Had the same results over the last decade, all signs point to it being the HC. When they win a playoff game this year I’ll take your apology

@3LegJohnson @Andrewpleclaire @hazardturner @jack_sperry Yes, the practice facility dumbass, jfc you are dense. If you think that every single thing about this team has changed in 10 years except the coach, you are either blind, ignorant, dumb, or most likely a combination of all 3. The Steelers have operated the same way since 1968!

@3LegJohnson @Andrewpleclaire @hazardturner @jack_sperry You're delusional, hoss. I said sharing a FACILITY not the field. No other NFL team does that. McCarthy hired more people, but it's still the smallest in the NFL. You can blame Tomlin as your boogeyman if it makes you feel better but he was far from the core problem. It's deeper

@yaboi420_69 @Andrewpleclaire @hazardturner @jack_sperry They’ve had different owners and different gm’s in the last 10 years and the same result. Sharing a field with Pitt means nothing, they had the smallest staff because Tomlin wouldn’t hire anyone. Mike McCarthy already hired way more ppl than Tomlin had.

@3LegJohnson @Andrewpleclaire @hazardturner @jack_sperry The GM and owner have no say? You're fooling yourself and in for a rude awakening. Also, "spending to the cap" doesn't equate to investing all your resources. They share a facility with Pitt for fucks sake. They have the smallest staff in the league. No analytics department.
