On the CT sides they were clearly rusty and didnt have fast reactions, but again thats what happens when you play your first official in 30 days. I remember 1-2 years ago when first Blast event would allowed 3 out of 4 teams in the group to qualify. It was so much better for getting teams in shape for the next important events. This is bad for both the teams and the viewers. Its simply bullshit to be out after a game. But Blast has been on a downtrend since forever
English

@3dash666 @BanKsEsports Sure the format ain't the best but you don't play Nuke that dominantly and then throw two early leads on the following two maps, unless your team is just an artist in throwing, like we all know Falcons are
English

@jr23753 @__katyushka___ Plus knowing that Niko is calling CT and he had a really bad Ancient ig he was still a bit in vacation mode not feeling the game that well. I think there is a lot of overreaction over this one online game. And dont get me started over how shit the format is
English

@__katyushka___ Even since the G2 days they've been terrible online anyway. Let's see an actual real event.
English

@SergeyMagnifico @BanKsEsports Faze had an Awper with igl numbers and a tier 3 opener tho
English

@BanKsEsports Faze downfall also started from losing on Blast Bounty 🤔

After winning the major they maybe took way more time off than they should but Ill give them a pass, especially to Niko. But now I think they will only stay in the bootcamp cuz from I saw Kyo wont go back to Russia and will stay in Europe during the entire European part of the season to bypass the visa issues, prob staying in Serbia like M0nesy does sometimes.
Also I think skipping Bucharest was lowkey smart because teams that will go to everything (EPL, Bucharest, Beijing, HK) will have no rest going into the major as it starts right after HK. So they will be a lot more fresh than most teams. I also saw that during Bucharest they could play Thunderpick, its in Europe and only lasts 4-5 days compared to 2 weeks of PGL and has the exact same prize pool. Sad for me cuz I wont see them tho
Also my fucking good it feels nice not to be limited when typing something

The thing is confidence. People are obviously going to be expecting even more now from them, and Falcons did struggle with meeting expectations. I’m not following the whole EWC, but apparently the Falcons org is not doing good, which will put an extra pressure on the CS team to win so their points count towards the ORG.
I knew the fact that they were bootcamping only 2 days before this thing started was going to backfire. How could it not? Now they will have close to a month. My fear is everybody goes on vacation again and we get fucked… Hopefully that won’t happen. We’re going to have EWC and Blast Porto back 2 back, and then almost a month again until ESL Pro League, because we decided to skip StarLadder and Bucharest as well.

We are OUT of Blast Bounty Season 2 2026.
The first one in the year we made it to the finals… This one we didn’t even made the playoffs!
I don’t even have words to say about how poorly we played this Anubis.
Look at the stats please. WTF IS THAT?!
Disappointed doesn’t even begin to cover. I’m fucking MAD!
Thank you m0NESY, Karrigan and Kyousuke for actually doing something.
Now we have about 10 days or so until EWC, and we better get a W there.

I remember long time ago when Astralis were at the top they lost 0-2 vs Col their first game after the player break. Shit happens when you come in rusty vs a team that already played a lot. M0nesy, Kyo and even Karrigan looked really good, its just Niko and Teses who need some more DM hours by the looks of it.
English

@Kahneedakid Real ones remember CoL winning 2-0 vs Astralis in their very first game after the player break. The only issues is how dogshit this format is, nobody ever did single elim in groups, and I would say the same for any top team that would lose
English

can’t wait for pundits to blow this out of proportion for what this means this season for both 100T and falcons…

@chedca @LobanjicaCS Literally no game has the emotions CS events have but whatever
English

@3dash666 @LobanjicaCS Best esports are probably QL circuit and fighting games 😆 everyone saw how bad vitality was when they finally had to adopt registered peripherals, pro cs has been a scam since the esea ventrilo cheat scandal
English

I see all these content creators hardcore crying about CS2…
Werent you all at the Major and saying how CS is the best game, making beatiful tweets, giving hearts and spreding positivity?
Maybe stop costreaming, stop going to events, stop defending valve and stop praising then when they do 5% positive after 95% negative stuff.
English

@ataldablair Crazy that its been 30 days already. Still feels like it was yesterday

Today, one month ago on June 21st, we saw Falcons beating Furia 3x0 on the final of the major, to become the IEM Cologne Major 2026 champions!
The hardest path to a major victory ever done. Champions of Cologne. It sounds so good saying this!
To celebrate this, I picked this photo. It shows so much emotion. I love it to bits! Can’t believe I hadn’t posted yet.
I’m here for all the failures and successes. The tears of joy and sorrow. As long as they are here, I’m not going anywhere.
Credit to ESL for the photo.

@ahtosensual @CS2News_EN Money can buy a lot of things, but cant replace the time you spend with your family and close ones. This isnt a one time thing, its what he will prob have to do for the rest of his career
English

@CS2News_EN Wow someone who is a pro player who got pay 40-70k month have to spend 40 days off his house wow crazy must be hard lul
English

🤯 kyousuke won't be able to go home for around 40 days after the Falcons bootcamp due to visa restrictions.
According to James Banks, Maksim will stay in Europe throughout the packed tournament schedule because of the entry limits on his visa:
"All of Falcons will be on bootcamp. At least what I understood from when I was talking to kyousuke and m0NESY in China was that they will be on bootcamp for the online portion and then obviously go to the events. By the way, because of kyousuke's visa situation, he will then be in Europe for something like 40 days. Like he can't, he's not leaving Europe, he's just doing all the events, can't go back and just go through all the events.
It's gonna be a crazy run for him. But that's dedication for a young, and what is he, is he still 18? I always forget. Yeah, he's still 18. So he's gonna be on a crazy run of events afterwards because of all the back-to-back Schengen events. And obviously he's limited by entries into Europe right on the visa. So yeah, it's gonna be a run. He's dedicated to the game, dedicated to the team. But I think Falcons should still win for sure".
