@ExploringStamps Yes exactly. The easiest way is to locate a post office (better if they have a philatelic space) and ask if they still have fixed value euro stamps, like 10¢ or 50¢ stamps. You can also find them on eBay. In a small way, you had a taste of Italian bureaucracy 😂.

@3lpleo Very helpful, thank you. So if I use 2x 500L stamps, I would still need 3743.87L or €1.93. No combination of ‘Forever’ allow me to use the Lire stamps without making them redundant. 🤔 I could try use a B and look for €0.68 cents of stamps maybe… It IS complicated

🇮🇹 Italy friends (or anyone that knows), Is it still true that we can use old lire stamps after 1967? Where do I find the conversion rate?

@ExploringStamps B are for Italy, B Zona 1 Europe (mostly), B Zona 2 America (mostly), B Zona 3 Australia and small island. So if you want to send a postcard from here to US you need (up today): 1936,27L×2,45€=4743,8615L stamps. So it's a little bit complicated but it still can be done :)

@ExploringStamps Yes it's true! You can also "mix" euro, lire and our forever stamps. The conversion rate is 1€ - 1936.27 lire.
