@rLaur59115 @pajas1147 @sola_chad The bible does indeed claim to be the final source of truth. If I were you, I would start studying it. Mary has nothing to do with salvation, only Jesus does. The bible is clear on this matter. No man made Catholic teaching can change it.

Abraham became justified by faith the minute he raised that knife to sacrifice his only son. His faith was made evident in his works. God saves us through faith. If we do not have obedience, then we do not have faith, and we will not see heaven. Catholicism is unscriptural, but so is the teaching that we just have to believe and do nothing more, and have no works. Faith without works is dead.

This is often how Catholics/Orthodox respond as soon as we say "Our obedience doesn't save us, Jesus does." They think obedience not saving us = not important. To the contrary, obeying is important, it just has no part in getting us to heaven. What Jesus did is enough.

Where does it say to pray to her? Where does it say she can answer prayers? Where does it say she can manifest on earth? Where does it say she is our co-redeemer? Where does it say she was born without sin? Where does it say she was taken bodily into heaven without dying? The bible does say we will call her blessed, but she was blessed because she gave birth to the messiah. That's the only blessing scripture shows for her. It says nothing else.

@pajas1147 @sola_chad She was picked to birth the savior, and that's where her role ends. Only God can hear the prayers of all mankind. Mary cannot hear them, she is just a normal human being like us who happened to be blessed to birth the savior of the world.

You chose to be gay, no one is born gay. I support creation, but I do not support sin. Just because I agree with God that homosexuality is a sin, doesn't mean I don't like you or want the best for you, it just means I think you're sinning if you're in a gay relationship. I'm not looking down on you, I just don't want you in hell. I believe what the Word says, and that scares me for you. I have family members that are gay and we get along great. They know my position, and they also know I love them greatly. I pray that you'll see the truth of God, have a great day.

Jesus said because they hate me, they will hate you. It's not really about you my friend, it's about Jesus. People will accept the world, but they won't accept Him, and you are in Him, and Him in you. Rejoice. Acts 5:41 "And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name."

Here’s the inconsistency I deal with as a Messianic Jew. Because I believe in Yeshua, the Jewish community often labels me an idolater or treats me like an outsider. Yet I have Jewish family members deeply involved in New Age spirituality... psychics, mediums, communing with the dead. These are occultic practices the Torah firmly forbids. And yet they remain fully embraced within the Jewish community. They attend Reform synagogues, participate openly, and no one questions whether they are still Jewish. Meanwhile, I love Hashem with all my heart, seek to honor Torah, and strive to walk faithfully before God. And I’m the one pushed out. Why is someone who consults mediums still unquestioningly accepted as Jewish, while I am told that I no longer am?

@mmamasaidd @JosephSwar86703 The law is a tutor to bring you to Christ. After you have put your faith in Him, you are no longer under the old law. You must now follow what Jesus has said and commanded you to do. He has made a new covenant, the old has passed away.

Christ's crucifixion was unnecessary if justification is by the law. But Christ's crucifixion is also unnecessary if the law is done away with. The Crucifixion of Christ can only save us if the law stands and we have broken it.

Baptism saves you in the sense that "Faith without works is dead." It isn't the baptism itself that saves. Baptism is you giving proof of your faith, just as Abraham gave proof of his as he raised the knife to kill his only son in obedience to God. Baptism is a command, and you are saved by faith, it is by works that you show your faith. The works don't save you, nor the baptism. God does, because of your faith. But faith without works is dead.

@ElohimSaves Then Peter misled the Church when he wrote, “Baptism now saves you” (1 Pet. 3:21). The issue is not magic water, but God acting through the sacrament He instituted. Rejecting baptismal regeneration requires explaining away plain texts, not merely asserting “faith alone.”

@j_zhong1611 We go through the tribulation, but are taken away before the wrath. People seem to think the tribulation and the wrath of God are the same thing; they are not. Satan brings about the great tribulation, but God brings the wrath.

There is not one single verse that teaches about the pre-tribulation rapture.

@TonySeruga As a young kid I went around painting Fire Hydrants red, white, and blue with the city crew. Patriotism was at it's height, as well as love for country. It was so awesome.

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." We all know this verse, but do we all know that from the original Greek in which the New Testament was written, that this verse should really be written like this; "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever keeps on believing in him should not perish, but keep on having everlasting life." Recently learned this from my studies. It is not a higher criticism thing, it is true.
