Dear Gen X, I’ve been watching 80s movies and I just need to know…WHERE WERE YOUR PARENTS?? Every child was just wandering the earth unsupervised like a raccoon with house keys. Riding bikes across town at midnight, fighting ghosts, investigating murders, befriending cryptids, hacking government computers for funsies… And the parents were ALWAYS “out of town” or “working late” while the only adult-adjacent supervision was some random 16-year-old who got dragged into the chaos. No cell phones. No helmets. No adult supervision. Just vibes, life lessons, and several near-death experiences. You all weren’t “raised.” You were lightly monitored feral creatures with a bike and unresolved trauma. I’m genuinely shocked there are enough of you left to populate an entire generation.

There is a hotel in the southern United States that employs a man whose official job title is Duckmaster. The position exists nowhere else in the world. @babybeginner I love this 😆 years ago my parents took in a stray cat who definitely had his limits on touching. I remember we took him in for something and warned the vet who waved us off like “it’s fine” and when they called us back in they had the falcon handling gloves on 😆

searching frantically for my phone in the dark at 4:30am. calling it didn't yield any noise. eventually I realized I must leave for my flight without it, and picked up my cat to say goodbye. the phone was under the cat and he's fat enough to muffle the sound

Today Bruiser hit 66,600 followers. He celebrated with treats and wet food and dry food! He hasn’t left all day! Hubby feeds him in the morning. Me in the evening. He has a nice cave to curl up in. Life is good for this feral baby!
