Your team still use a field tarp? Learn how to use the “tarp funneling!” technique … When you don’t want to dump all the water already on the tarp into the outfield grass because it is already saturated. We had a drain over by the dugout and we learned how to get 100% of the water on the tarp into that drain. It was a lifesaver for getting in games … because our OF did not drain good at all.

The @OfficialGHSA meeting kicks off at 9:00am where they will hear requests from the following schools to change regions. Gainesville can 100% argue, and we would agree, that traveling to Region 8 involves much less traffic by a wide margin. Less vehicle traffic and less athletic traffic when competing for Region Championships.

@CoachRock73 Coach you are always one of my favorite reads, because you get it. I didn’t get to coach my son in HS, the last’s were tough. Thank goodness he played for great men like yourself in Bob Christmas and @CoachMongero who always kept things in perspective.

After 29 years of coaching, I can tell u that hugging your son after his last HS football game is one of the toughest things I ever had to do. For all u young coaches with young boys, it doesn't get any better than coaching your own son.
