throughout games if you’re a central part of the offense, you’re probably gonna block more shots than guards, you have people set you up for shots/throw lobs, etc. Meanwhile SGA has to create 90% of his own shots & the only way to standout is score a ton on unheard of efficiency

What doesn’t get mentioned in MVP convos is how much harder it is to stand out as a guard in the NBA. If you’re a big that gets a lot of volume to score, naturally your box numbers are gonna look stupid. You’re gonna grab more rebounds than guards, you’ll naturally get assists..
