One thing I’ve never really been able to help people with is how to pass aptitude tests, because, honestly, even I don’t fully know. I wrote a lotttttt of assessments during my job search, I passed some and failed others, so I can’t exactly claim knowing a hack for it. Once you get past the assessment stage, it’s much easier to share interview tips. But when it comes to GMAT-style questions (quant, verbal, data, spatial reasoning), it’s mostly a mix of grace and whatever arithmetic/deductive foundation you already have. I do think the fact that I was preparing for my GRE at the time helped a bit. But beyond that, I’ve never had clear-cut advice. Even when we say practice past questions (which is the best advice anyone can give), that’s mostly to get your brain into problem-solving mode, because the actual questions you’ll face will likely be completely different. If I had to offer anything at all for people preparing for recruitment assessments, it would be:
