Kolkata river front is so underrated, but good to see this is in the priority list of Government. With some of the good projects like Kolkata eye , residential and corporate, this will be the future poster location of India in the global stage.

New town might be one of the best planned cities in India. - 93 sqkm - 6 Lakh population - Metro under construction - A lot of greenery - wide footpaths and cycle lanes - IT hub of Kolkata

@TheBengalIndex Fix the important things like Street Food, Vendors & Hawkers first. Look at parking issues at CBD for office goers and shoppers. Kolkata is full of heritage buildings and monuments, take care of it.

@TheBengalIndex HIRE SOME GOOD DESIGNER. Randomly putting idol, looks incomplete like a childish way of planing. govt design look lik a kid from 1500 era has designed it.. hire some experts , who can build good architecture with a traditional touch & then integrate idols in a meaningful way.
