I can't imagine the time and difficulty in working on something for so long to see it come out and then to have it just tossed aside as an accounting blip. But I hope more than anything, the orders and responses for the graphic novel show you how much your work resonates with so many people.

@JoshuaSteinman I really liked this show and it had a great hook. The one consolation is the cancellation must have happened early on because they do kind of wrap up the story.

@JesterJum Or like, extra clicks in general. I've had some webmail accounts for legitimately over 20 years now but they updated the page or the GUI and now, just to get to the login is like 3 clicks and sometimes the one transitional page throws an error. What's the point?

@GarthGatson I went to the "rich" school in between a bigger city school and a big rural highschool. I had 83 kids in my class and by our 10 year reunion 9 kids had died from familial violence or drugs.

@peterrhague There's a niche market for it. Our HOA blocked our solar install because as a historical district, the panels would be visible from the road and therefore detract from the "historic preservation" efforts of the neighborhood. But we couldn't afford the Tesla roof anyway :)

Solar roof tiles strike me as a clever solution to a non-problem. Yes, you can do funky optical engineering so they function as photovoltaic cells but look like normal tiles from ground level. But were aesthetics ever a barrier to deployment?

That's what I was wondering. I don't have thousands to put into a top of the line ASIC, but I do have space for a small solar setup and great Southern exposure. So just looking for something to learn and get started with and then if I can make some profit, long term put that into more powerful equipment etc.

New theory that I am suddenly 500% sure of: The homeless aren’t just on display to keep us showing up for work. They are also kept numerous as an argument against any kind of public infrastructure. Want parks, libraries, transit? We can’t have those things, they’d just be 👇🏻

But like, American guys have to sign up for the draft when they turn 18 already. So what exactly was the "joke". The Middle East part, as you pointed out wasn't true and Trump didn't suddenly start a draft. So....it was just two nonsensical points pushed together and it's "the joke of the night?" Are we guessing that she made it up on the fly so she gets some bonus points?

But they are trying to provide shade and shelters in a way that doesn't attract the rampant homeless communities they've also created into using them as shelters. See, it's a real lose lose because they can't admit why they build such crappy "shelters" because they are also pro the people who would use them to live in.

My theory is lack of cross training and overtraining in younger kids. You see it in baseball with kids in high school getting elbow surgery which used to always be pro players for the most part. Kids get locked into a sport and don't play and move in other ways or ride bikes etc.

Need some input from other coaches out there. I honestly don’t recall anyone ever tearing an ACL when I was in HS (mid-2000s). Why are they so prevalent now? My two theories: No one rides bikes No one jumps on trampolines. Or could it be the playing surfaces?

Spencer Pratt has gained traction in his campaign for L.A. Mayor by showing what he says Karen Bass did to his family -- forcing them to live in a trailer after his home burned down. Though, Pratt has really been staying at the Hotel Bel-Air for more than a month. Mind you, you can't get a room for less than $1,500 a night.
