@brucerdity @JohnCleese Flim-flam purveyors of woo-woo always resort to redefining terms to suit their beliefs. Gender and sex are synonymous. What you folks have redefined as "gender" is what was always called "gender roles" and "gender stereotypes."

I also know that the psychological phenotype reduces to the biological phenotype, and that men don't have extra fat laid down on their thighs from estrogen, very supple skin due to estrogen, or mammary glands that fully lactate. I'm also able to deploy the biopsychosocial model of psychiatric science to distinguish gender from sex. Ignoring distinctions which matter is indeed epistemically flawed. Fundamentalists and bigots always want to make complex things seem simple, thereby deleting the information which undermines their fundamentalist view.

NEW: 60-year-old cancer survivor is trying to become the oldest person to play college football. Tom Green, a 60-year-old freshman political science major at McDaniel College, has made the football roster. Green owns a wooden pallet company in Pennsylvania and never went to college. In 2015, he was diagnosed with Stage IV kidney cancer. He said he "was checking out in 2017," but ended up beating cancer. Green plays defensive line and made the DIII team as a walk-on. He is also a full-time student, as that is a requirement to play on the team. "I knew that the number was 61, that's the oldest player who ever played. I'm going to be 61 in June, so I'm [going to] be tying that record. But he [the record holder] just kicked extra points; he was a kicker," Green said to a local news outlet. Beast.
