Opening weekend at @Wall_Stadium is here. I’ve watched the work being put in, and it’s great to see another short track still standing and not sold off. Show up. Support it. Keep short tracks alive.

@SkinnerRoundUp @angieskinner5 @SiriusXMNASCAR No Electric but I can see changing the car to SUV then maybe Ford would invest in the series again. Take baby steps to electric maybe hybrid first then full 15-20 years down the road.

@A_S12 @NASCAROReillyAP @SBJ I can see them making it a SUV type car maybe with a hybrid technology and V8 to prepare for full electric 15 years down the road. I’m not asking for it to go that way but OEM support is needed. Ford gave up on NOAPS support.

John Probst says CUV could give @NASCAROReillyAP clearer identity: "If you look at the brand identity of those three, the O'Reilly Series struggles a little bit just from the car perspective and you see it a lot because we refer to it often as whoever the entitlement sponsor is."

@bobpockrass Why not soften up the tires so they need to put more often?

The idea is in the final two stages, they won't need to stay fuel because they won't need to pit for fuel. In the first stage, they potentially would save gas depending on when the cautions come out (if they do).
anne gamache@AnneGamach95662

@bobpockrass What difference will it make saving fuel in the first stage or the last? Now they will ride around to save gas so they can wait as long as they can to catch a caution.

@Tobster851 @TeamHendrick Didn’t Justin sub for Larson in the 600 when he did Indy 500? He drove from almost lap down to 12th before rain cancelled the race.

@TeamHendrick Idk why y'all keep throwing Justin in the car. How many times has he been behind a wheel of a cup car and hasn't ran well? Too many to count. Give someone a little more deserving a chance, that actually runs good. It was cool when Berry drove the 9, and lajoie even tho I hate him

Alex Bowman will miss at least the next three races as he continues to recover from vertigo. Justin Allgaier will fill in through Bristol. “Alex continues to experience symptoms, so we are following the guidance of the medical team and giving him the time he needs to recover." bit.ly/4rBurMM

@bobpockrass Why not a tire with wear at Daytona?

The Cup Series will have a new right-side tire for Atlanta. The construction (what is underneath the tread) is similar to changes made for tires used at other 1.5-mile tracks. Designed to have more wear. The Atlanta tires (construction-tread combination) only used at Atlanta.

@Jm18Mc @CBird73936300 @markmartin TV is why. We get commercials on Yellow flag and more green flag racing. If stage breaks are gone we have more commercials on Green flags.

@CBird73936300 @markmartin No reason why they have to stop the race at the end of a stage. Just let them know who won it and keep going so we get green flag pit stops.

Hey @markmartin You did such a great job with the points system. Can you do something about stages? Damn it. If they need a competition caution. Call a competition caution. This stage gimmick has gotten old

@jayski Hopefully they only change the one race championship should be 3-4 race final round. Maybe 12 race chase. IMO 36 race will be step backwards.

@C_Rice1 I’ll take whatever they put in front of me. I also think going to full season point would be a step backwards. Playoff system makes end of season more interesting.

Wel I’m disappointed you hate me, but it’s OK. I still like you. Why not send in how you would like the points to look and that would help. And what age you are that would definitely help. But remember, I don’t make the points System.
Rich Money@RichMoneyRacing

@dailydownforce I’m sick of people in the industry like @C_Rice1 trying to gaslight me that full season points wouldnt work for the younger audience. I’m in that key demo you’re chasing, and yet I get ignored when I say I want full season points.

Not for Cup. Cup will have same practice time in 2026 as it did in 2025. In Xfinity and trucks, they won't be split into groups for practice and will get 50 minutes (but still same restrictions as far as limited changes, can't go to the garage, etc).
Frankie Dodd@Frankie_Dodd_

@bobpockrass any talk about more practice time this year?

@bobpockrass @NASCARONFOX While I think the 1 race knockout is a bit unfair. The playoffs work. We need to have a longer last round. 3-4 races. 1 knockout race seems unjust.

Quantum computers work best in extremely cold and stable environments Moon’s permanently shadowed craters have: - Temperatures can drop below -200°C, which helps quantum bits (qubits) work without losing information - Constant darkness means less energy fluctuations and more stability - There’s almost no air, water, or electromagnetic noise, so quantum states stay stable longer
