Can anyone explain to me why Israel and only Israel is able to order people from another country to evacuate their home? Anyone? Israel has issued an evacuation order for Tyre, Lebanon, displacing 200,000 more people. Tyre is an ancient Phoenician city with Roman ruins and a hippodrome.

Christian leaders and Israeli activists told NBC the attack is part of a broader pattern of harassment and physical assault targeting clergy and pilgrims — often carried out by ultra-Orthodox Jewish yeshiva students. Jerusalem’s Christian population has collapsed from roughly 25% to less than 2% of the city over the past century.

This man is my high school teacher, Ibrahim Al-Shawish.
He was a strong educator who taught with a clear conscience and cared deeply for his students. Israel arrested him during this genocide and subjected him to every form of torture imaginable, and many that are not. When he was finally released, his features had changed so much that I didn’t recognize him until my friend told me who he was. Truthfully, he is no longer the same person. The psychological torture they inflicted was brutal; they were trying to break him by any means necessary to crush his personality and his very being.
