This evening at BK Arena, President Kagame attended the opening match of the 47th African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) Men’s Club Championship, where Rwanda’s APR Volleyball Club defeated Zimbabwe’s Black Rhinos in straight sets, 3–0. The championship runs from 22 April to 2 May 2026 and brings together 24 of the continent’s top volleyball clubs. Rwanda is represented by APR VC, Police VC, REG VC, and Kepler VC.

On 22 April 2026, Rwandan peacekeepers (RWABAT-2) deployed under the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) conducted medical outreach at Boali District Headquarters, Boali Sub-Prefecture. During the outreach, over 174 patients were consulted, diagnosed, and treated for various medical conditions, and were provided with appropriate medication.
