The 6-foot-6, 215-pound Cotton was a dynamic two-way wing for the Vaqueros where he was named first-team All-Southland and also to the league's All-Defensive team last season. Becoming a consistent scoring threat at UTRGV, Cotton grew from a role player at Jacksonville State to a double-figure contributor. Showcasing all-around versatility, Cotton shot 40 percent from 3-point range and added at least one block and one steal per game on the defensive end in 2025-26.
