The state harassed & convicted Christy of contempt because of the line in his Stardust song “the fire exits were chained.” Last week, the jury found unanimously that the fire exits were chained. Christy is the only person convicted of any offence arising from the atrocity.

Arrived in Dublin from Paris today and there were two immigration officers at the door of the plane asking for passports. Went through customs control and there were two more again asking for my passport and where I had been. Great to see this but too little too late.
