@Jacobwpg @DrBradJohnson I agree with this, but this creates a teacher shortage problem, along with lack of pay and a lack of respect for the profession. I am a teacher.

@DrBradJohnson We do not have a teacher problem, we have a parent problem. Parents need to have expectations for thier kids to listen to the teacher respectfully, make sure kids go to class, and complete homework. That is our failure here in the US.

Over 90% of Finnish teachers remain in education for entirety of career. We lose nearly 50% in the first five years! They also teach 50% less hours with remainder for team planning, multiple recesses, autonomy at school level, limited teacher eval's & are treated like professionals!

Robert Francis O’Rourke doesn’t want low-income kids to have the same opportunities HE had at private school. Maybe that’s why Texans told you NO in 2022.

I used to be proud that @GregAbbott_TX was our governor. Then I was disgusted that he was bought and paid for by the voucher lobby. Now I see him tweeting at Democratic staffers and former reps like he's a scorned teenage ex-girlfriend and I just feel bad for our state.

I have never seen my brother as down on a team as he was in December. But playing great at the right time and hitting big shots is all that matters. This team is a real testament to coaching to never give up on a team. I sure wish my dad could have seen it. Proud of him!!

Want to take a minute & talk about the Spearman Lynxettes. A team that has been overlooked this year but quietly put together a 26-5 season so far, won a 1-3A championship as well as winning two playoff games for the first time in over a decade. Keep it up ladies #txhshoops
