@Markoftheroad @UKLabour I’m quoting what I’ve just paid - I’ve got to travel from Cardiff to Parkway by road so booking on to specific trains is risky, and an anytime return is a safer bet, and the only times I can travel due to having a young family at home are peak time.

@4rickus4 @UKLabour Having just played around on the GWR site to verify my peak return between those stations was £181.50 for Monday, 0729 out and 1648 back. Plenty to be done re extortionate rail fares but you’re quoting worst case as if it’s the only fare available.
