I am saddened to see a number of people on my timeline celebrating and sharing things that will spread this division further. I don’t choose hate and I will simply unfriend and unfollow anyone sharing this ill informed nonsense #SayNoToHate

Like so many people I have been feeling totally overwhelmed and despondent by the recent news. There are a small minority of people who are exploiting the horrific death of children to fuel division and hate.

The full story is he called an old lady a ‘c***’ for moving too slowly so I said to him ‘mind your language, you can’t talk to people like that, it’s not nice’ To which he responded ‘well you’re a f****** mon****’ (that word ended in ‘grel’) & the woman behind me said ‘woah’…

Nirvana were the biggest band around, Nevermind was a huge record and Nirvana approached Steve Albini to produce the follow up. Accepting would gain him notoriety and a bundle of money. Instead he wrote back to them listing his expectations including not wanting any royalties.
