An impactful day of exposure, learning, and inspiration for our @5000RoleBCPS of South Plantation High School. ⚖️🎓 ✅ Courthouse tours ✅ Observed juvenile court proceedings ✅ Engaged with leaders across Broward County’s justice system ✅ Connected with real-life role models Students had the opportunity to meet Judge Corey B. Friedman, Judge Elijah H. Williams, Judge Michael J. Orlando, State Attorney Harold F. Pryor, Public Defender representative Janelle Floyd, and Sanissa Macko from the Broward Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab. Great morning celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the 33rd Annual MLK @5000RoleModels Scholarship Breakfast. I was honored to stand alongside the incredible @5000RoleBCPS mentors and our outstanding students. I am truly grateful to have been selected as an Honoree by the program’s founder, @RepWilson. As Martin Luther King Jr. reminded us, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’” Today reaffirmed the importance of mentorship, service, and lifting as we climb.
