A woman in CO told me "hell no" she won't give back her AR-15. I listened, but by her logic: Why shouldn't you be allowed to have a bazooka or a tank? These are the conversations Congress shouldn't be afraid of—because if we're going to end this epidemic, we need to have them.

@BetoORourke I understand her argument of wanting to protect herself and her children. But you don't need a weapon of war for that. She can use her glock for that. No one is trying to take ALL of her guns...just the ones that can kill 30 people in 30 seconds.

@BetoORourke I don't understand this irrational fear people have of home invasion. The person most likely to kill you in your home with a gun is someone who lives there.
