“I am reminded that awe is a matter of opening ourselves up to everyday experiences rather than searching or labeling a moment of awe as having to be life changing, although it can sometimes be.”

4:15 alarm for 5:30 am yoga and mindfulness this morning at the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Academy. I’ve been so proud to work with Class 231. I’m excited for their upcoming graduation. I’m particularly excited to have several of my colleagues in the class back at the MCSO!

“Absorbing the video, what came to mind was the beauty that is present and reflected all around us that we don't see daily.
It reminded me to slow down, pause, breath in and enjoy all we have - even when/if we don't see it.”
Amazing reflection from a #TheAweProject participant.
“The video showed me how simple and timeless mindfulness can be with intentionality.”
