The body of 8-year-old Khizir Derbichev has been found in Ingushetia, 10 kilometers from the place where he fell into the river. The search for Khizir lasted more than seven days. Throughout this time, rescuers, volunteers and ordinary people from different regions of the Caucasus were looking for him.

The tragedy of little Khizir, an 8-year-old boy, who drowned in occupied Ingushetia, once again proved how powerful the solidarity among the peoples of the region is.

On Tuesday, a Muslim family home in the Lammack area of Blackburn was targeted in an arson attack while three young children, including a baby, were inside the property. The attack caused significant damage to both the family’s vehicle and their home, putting innocent lives at risk and leaving the family deeply shaken. What happened could have had far more serious consequences. We are sharing this footage to raise awareness of this incident and to highlight the impact it has had on a family who should have felt safe in their own home.
