What I don’t understand is why so many of us have food intolerances nowadays like gluten, dairy & so many more. When I was at school back in the 60s/70s apart from the odd peanut allergy you never heard of anyone with these problems. What’s caused it? Is it the medications that we are taking?

Average British diet is like - Breakfast - Bacon, eggs, white toast. Lunch - White sandwich, cheese, ham, mayo, maybe tuna or BLT. Dinner - Supermarket ready meal or sausage & mash, cottage pie, fish & chips, anything with chips. Vegetables are reserved for special occasions. More men cook than women, since the eradication of Finishing School & Home Economics in the 70s & 80s.

Primary school teacher here. I'm so over world fucking book day. Most kids barely own a book these days so why waste a day's learning to prance about in nasty, polyester princess or boy wizard costumes? Frozen is not a book and no 7 year old has read Harry Potter. Utter nonsense.

@fesshole I'm the same height. Worst experience was sitting in the cheap seats of an old Victorian theatre. I had to take my socks and use them as padding for my knees because they were wedged against the seat in front

I hate being 6 foot, it's like entry level tall. I get the bad back, not fitting in a standard bath and feet hanging off the bed but I don't get to tower over people unless they're really short and I feel short next to taller people. I'd rather be 5'8" and comfortable.
