Gm ☀️ This one’s going to be a long one for anyone who cares to read a summary of my Tezos journey: It all began with me collecting Lushtemples – Mint, a special edition HEN500K by @zancan. Zancan was an artist whose work resonated with me instantly after I first saw it on my Twitter timeline. The deeper I dived into his work, the more I fell in love with it. One of my favorite pieces of his is a small painting of some ruins in a forest, coincidentally located in Greece. The problem was that he was minting on Tezos and, at the time, I didn’t collect there (by choice). I did ask him if he would ever mint on ETH again, but he kindly refused until any environmental issues were dealt with. I told him I’d wait for that to happen… but I couldn’t actually wait that long. That’s when I created idontlike.tez, to start collecting his works under a pseudonym. My passion for his work resulted in the most iconic moment for me on Tezos to date: the Ringer #330 for Garden, Monoliths #253 trade with @rudxane1. Some may say it was a bad trade, but for me it definitely wasn’t. Then I fell into the rabbit hole. I couldn’t stop collecting incredible art, often from artists who weren’t minting on ETH yet. It’s how I discovered one of my now-favorite artists, @qubibien. By now, many in the community probably know about my power struggles against @thefunnyguysNFT for the most Leftovers collected. But a piece that holds a special place in my heart is 2203020454 by Qubibi. I also collected some of my all-time favorite pieces, like Psychedelic Chicken à la Mode by @pointline_. @fx_hash_ was an equally important part of that journey. It was a platform that had me checking daily for exciting new collections. It has been a very interesting experience watching the platform evolve, meeting the team, and live-minting at events. I loved the vision and the passion so much that I even ended up investing in them. I couldn’t be more excited for the launch of $FXH and to mint some interesting pieces of art.

@sashastiles Well, this is Twitter. The platform skews right since Elmo took over. A lot of artists and collectors, myself included* left for more sane outlets (warpcast is still pretty great). This is still crypto-bro town 110%. I'll hands-down bet most artists were white/male as well.

Fascinating results from the poll. Trump took the lead across the board—58% of artists and 67% of collectors, totaling 62% of votes. Two things really stand out here: 1️⃣ I was expecting a higher Democratic lean among artists, as the art community is often viewed as left-leaning. This challenges some common assumptions about political homogeneity in the art community 2️⃣ The results are surprisingly in sync with current prediction markets, almost mirroring broader trends.
