@LudensLudonauta @ickyvickywhy Yea, it really depends on what you use Photoshop for, whether GIMP is a viable replacement. Though honestly, most of the things people are doing with Photoshop, Photoshop itself isn't really all that suited for to begin with. Like painting. So those parts are easier to replace.

@ickyvickywhy O GIMP é um software de manipulação de imagens. Não de ilustração. Nem de animação. Nem de fotografia. Então o que geralmente se tem no Photoshop, tu vai precisar de uns 3 ou 4 programas open source. Por isso a gente valoriza muito compatibilidade de formatos (tipo .svg).

"I suck at math, can I learn programming?" This is a comment I see every once in a while, and the answer is ABSOLUTELY! Math isn't really all that important for programming, (unless you're doing graphics programming from scratch where you do need hardcore matrix math) I'm not very good at math myself. Programming is all about LOGIC which is quite different. You need to think like "ok so here I need to store this data in a collection ,then cycle through all elements in the collection and do something to each element", there's no math involved anywhere in that common task. The most math you need in programming, and specifically game development, is really just basic trigonometry. For example calculating a direction vector is: targetPosition - currentPosition; or moving an object currentPosition += moveVector * Time.deltaTime; So if you suck at math then don't worry! Yes you can still learn programming and make awesome games! Best of luck!

@tasogarenoudewa I think it partially depends on how much worldbuilding debt each sequel brings on. Some stories are better or worse about previous knowledge is incorporated into sequels. In general though, yea, release order is probably the best progression of worldbuilding.

@tomjamespotter @ViridianGames Probably most important is matching what you are trying to do to the right method. Do you roll your own or use built in to engine. Sometimes that's a flow map, or sometimes its A* or Breadth First. redblobgames.com has a lot of good articles on the various subjects.

@hasegawafusao2 Takes a bit to wrap your head around. The only part that should touch the perspective lines is the point like the top drawing, however the widest point, the center of the ellipse is like the second drawing, but just inside the perspective line, though still wider than it touches

@AboMusab1996 Ok, I know its an abomination, but I really like doing a wrap with nori, thin layer of mayo and filled with cabbage, deli turkey/chicken slices, and carrots. No rice. I don't do it often though, usually I do actually just make normal rolls.

Як би це парадоксально не звучало, але 1 мільйон вершин, займає менше пам'яті ніж 4к текстура. Вершина з позицією, нормалью, UV, тангентом та vertex color = 12+8+12+16+12 = 60 байтів. Мільйон вершин ~57.22 МБ. Текстура розміром 4096 × 4096 у форматі RGBA8, це рівно 64 МБ.

@giga_yadoran @Enjapma_labo I'd say Godot, but I'm biased. Working on a tutorial series for it. Really though, it depends on what your goals are. If you want to make a more realistic game I'd go UE, making a smaller more casual game, I'd go Godot.
