Lots of very smart people are appropriately concerned about regulatory capture from top two AI players. And there are many scary press releases but no real due process. If OpenAI violated Hugging Face in a way that “demands” new regulation; let’s start with a formal criminal investigation. With a proper third party investigation. And sincere liability. It can’t be “so super serious” and only analyzed by the defendant. Thats ludicrous. And why would we write new regulation if the crime we are supposedly protecting against isn’t even prosecuted? There are actual doctors that do address the diet as a first and last step. Kind of like a dentist dealing with cavities..

I don't take mine with sugar or a glazed pastry. The connection with ADHD and anti-anxiety medication is the strangest thing I've ever heard. And, totally agree that variety is the spice of life, but it can include copious amounts of coffee. Have a great day and drink lots of coffee!!

Go ahead and have that fifth cup of coffee. Consuming up to five cups of coffee a day, without added sugar and other ingredients, is okay and “generally safe” for most adults, says a new scientific statement from the American Heart Association (AHA). Also noted in the statement is that coffee does not “increase cardiovascular risk" and may have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, offering some health benefits. The benefits of heart health, the AHA says, include lowering the risk of cardiovascular conditions, such as heart failure, heart disease, and stroke in some individuals. Published Monday, July 20, in the journal Circulation, the AHA statement details research on caffeinated coffee's potential impact on high blood pressure, cholesterol, Type 2 diabetes, coronary heart disease, stroke, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, other arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular conditions. The AHA study was based on coffee brewed with paper filters or instant coffee. Unfiltered coffee, like espresso, French press, Turkish coffee or boiled coffee, contained the compound called cafestol. Cafestol was associated with higher levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) or “bad” cholesterol. The research is based on consuming up to 400 milligrams of caffeine per day, which equals up to five cups (8 ounces each) of caffeinated coffee. Per fluid ounce, regular, caffeinated coffee contains between 9.4-20.6 milligrams of caffeine.
