@EastMidRailway @SteveWatkiss See the 5:58 came through at 06:33 with a lamp in the back cab so guessing it was a fault when starting the unit at Lincoln. Was there no other unit to use. This service gets cancelled a lot with faults

@SteveWatkiss This service is starting at Nottingham due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time. I can see that the 06:25 service from Newark to Nottingham departed on time and is operating as scheduled.^JB

@EastMidRailway another 5:58 Newark to Nottingham cancelled, course it is. Shame it’s never accurate when buying my ticket online before leaving the house

@SJW_96 @EastMidRailway On one of the carriages there are stickers on the table and windows saying standard class seating it’s one of my fave units to travel on !

@EastMidRailway Hi, we aren't getting this train but just noticed one of your trains from London to Nottingham has three first class carriages on a seven carriage train. Is that a little excessive for the length of the train? Especially if it gets crowded

@EastMidRailway Beginning of last year you advertised on your website a page with improvements coming the the CSI screens at your stations. I travel a lot between Newark Lincoln Mansfield. These screens are still the old ones when will they be replaced? Ones at MF have not worked

@EastMidRailway I am on the 10:33 from Lincoln to London and the ticket inspector is an absolute joy. So polite and happy considering she must’ve had an early start to her day. Plus it’s a busy route and yet she’s up and down collecting tickets being polite and friendly.

@23247Mike @EastMidRailway Because it’s not EMR who decide which rolling stock they get. This comes from the Dft so essentially it’s the rubbish governments who don’t get the private rolling stock companies Porterbrooke and angel trains etc to invest profits back into rolling stock. Hope that helps

@EastMidRailway Can you explain why, at this stage of your contract you are still running 30 year old trains on your long cross country Norwich-Liverpool service which lack a power supply for mobile devices, no trolley service and an unreliable service?

@EastMidRailway Neither of the CIS screens attended working at Newark Castle. As per yesterday I guess the office staff can’t reset these??

@EastMidRailway Yes but I have been here a while all trains have been saying Crewe but due to the flooding all have terminated at Nottingham that’s miss leading why not change them to say Nottingham ??

@EastMidRailway if no trains are running all the way to Crewe from Newark. Why are the info screens still saying they are. I asked in the office he said he can’t change the screens. What rubbish he must be able to on his computer???

@EastMidRailway so it happened the 12:16 bus from Newark to Nottingham 30 seats so having to stand. I told you this would happen yesterday?

@EastMidRailway Not answered my question? The buses were full with passengers from Newark before train arrived. The travel office said nothing they could do. It’s always busy on Saturday and I’m often stood and late for work

@EastMidRailway Tomorrow you have buses between NCT and NOT last time this was on I was unable to board the connecting bus as it was full when the train arrived at NCT to connect. What measures will be in place to ensure train to bus transfers get on first ?

@EastMidRailway 2L54 is delayed due to fault with the barriers as this train has not departed Lincoln and its inward service is on time from PBO 2K04. Where is the barrier fault ?? Seams sus

@Paulmh5 @EastMidRailway It use to use the 2g mobile network to transmit the reservations to the train how did they not plan its switching off lol

@EastMidRailway I've had an email to say seat reservations won't be working for my travel on the 15th and 16th Jan. While my experience tells me that's probably accurate, how can you say they won't work weeks in advance and haven't a plan to resolve it?

@nickhucks From what I can see, the portion of your ticket not valid for this route is between Stoke/Crewe and Manchester/Stockport. If you are permitted to travel to Manchester/Stockport by Avanti, you should be covered to Liverpool on EMR. ^DS

@EastMidRailway Hi, got tickets from Euston to Lime St with Avanti, train got cancelled so on an Avanti train to Stockport/Manc Piccadilly, is it possible to use this ticket on one of your services from Stockport/Manc Piccadilly to Lime St, or will we need to buy tickets?
