@Matt_Stepp817 Yes, they have to serve their suspension the next season from my understanding of the rule. Coaches that get caught and reported face forfeiture of the game for ineligible player.

Question for #txhsfb coaches...if a junior/sophomore is ejected in the 2nd half of a playoff game that they lose is that player ineligible for the first half of the first game next year???

Although Denton Ryan is not the #1 or #2, nor is Justin Northwest, but those two teams could beat most #1's or #2's, so if UIL doesn't do 4 teams, then some very good teams don't get in. It comes with a price either way.

@wallhawk @Matt_Stepp817 Playoffs are just a participation award. In districts with 5 teams, 1 win gets you in. Not deserved, again, in my opinion
