A friend called last week asking if they had a drinking problem. I'm always happy to lend an ear, share my experience, but believe diagnosing if someone has a problem is personal (or medical.) He has chosen to try to moderate. Curious, is true moderation actually possible for someone who uses alcohol to cope, or is complete abstinence the only way?

Aiyuk is the first 49ers reciever to be drafted by the team to have at least two 1k yard recieving seasons with the team since T.O. Only six player have at least two 1k receiving seasons with the 49ers period. His talent is NOT dime a dozen the way people think it is. The 49ers are an unusually tight-knit team. They knew in 2021 that Aiyuk didn't fit their culture. I'll never understand why they extended him. That was a baffling decision.
