@royalsminors Terrible game for all of the pitchers. It was a miserable night to be at the game. I don't know if they couldn't grip the ball or what the issue was, but I haven't seen that many walks in a ball game since little league.

The #Royals didn’t score much against Bibee or Williams but they did drive their pitch counts up to get them out of games early. Haven’t seen much of that from KC offenses in a very long time.

Q could’ve pinch hit a lefty for Lane Thomas a few innings ago when we had a runner in scoring position with a RHP on the mound. He comes up an inning later down 1 run with Maikel on 3rd and grounds out first pitch…then costs us a run in the field in the 8th. They could’ve gotten a better hitter up for him and would’ve had Isbel in CF who makes that play in his sleep
