@Xeer @SingaporeAir Singapore airlines was top tier when I was growing up but that was two decades ago

As a Singaporean 🇸🇬 I’m always the most proud of my national carrier @SingaporeAir.
Sadly this wasn’t one of those times. I take a LOT of flights every year and a large number of those are on SQ.
Dirty seats. Chocolate wrapper stuck in the seat table and another in the chair seam. Poor service recovery. On an 18 hour flight from New York to Singapore. Even on the lowest of low cost carriers I’ve not experienced this.
Followed up with customer service after the flight. Their offer? 7500 miles ($100) and NDA so I never speak about this again. Told them to shove it.
Loyalty should go both ways. I hope SQ reclaims best airline in the world one day the way Lee Kuan Yew envisioned but this is not it.

INTERNET COMPUTER GOES DEFLATIONARY AS MISSION 70 KICKS IN
@dfinity's Mission 70 governance proposal, which passed with 53%+ support, is now actively cutting $ICP's annual inflation by up to 70%, dropping the rate from 9.72% to between 2.92% and 5.42% by year-end.
The mechanism has teeth. 20% of all revenue from the upcoming Cloud Engines product will permanently burn $ICP, with another 80% routed to node providers. NNS voting rewards have been capped, and node provider incentives restructured to align with actual usage.
With Cloud Engines demoing May 10 and the deflationary engine already running, $ICP's setup is shifting from "speculative AI compute play" to "tokens burned per unit of enterprise revenue."

"Where are the servers of Bitcoin located?” - Prof Jiang
That single question from Jiang shows the misunderstanding immediately.
Bitcoin does not run on one company’s servers,
Bitcoin runs on a distributed network of nodes spread across the world, which is exactly why it is hard to censor, shut down, or control, plus the mining system on top of it to protect it with energy.
When someone frames Bitcoin like a centralized system, they are not critiquing Bitcoin as it is.
They are critiquing a version of Bitcoin that exists only in their own confusion.
