Across multiple Republican and Democratic administrations, our policy has been to find additional ways to prevent the sale of Iranian oil. This was not allowed under JCPOA. This is unfathomable to me to be simultaneously at war with Iran and waiving sanctions on Iran.

BREAKING The Trump administration has granted a temporary sanctions waiver allowing the Islamic Republic of Iran to sell oil. The authorization applies to shipments that were already loaded onto tankers before March 20, 2026, and gives a deadline of April 19 to complete them. The regime may not sell oil to North Korea, Cuba, or any part of Ukraine under Russian control.

@96mnc @HQNewsNow @BernieSanders Congress can provide funding via state grants I believe but Constitution under State’s Rights doesn’t give it power to direct state records or internal voting controls. That’s why the bill says States could create their own record verification process. Definitely should be free!

It’s already in the bill to allow states to create their own systems for verification where records are lost or difficult to obtain. They can easily set waivers. It’s not the federal government’s purview to run state records.

First, the Omani FM came out and revealed that there was a deal on the table that met Trump's demands, but that he instead chose war. And now, it is revealed that the British National Security Advisor was also part of the talks, and he too attests to the fact that A) there was no imminent threat from Iran, B) Trump could have gotten a surprisingly good deal if he stuck to diplomacy.
