@swinburne_mark I like the way we played previously, I like him, I'm not entitled to support a team consistently finishing in the top 4 and have time for all aspects of the club to improve at a steady pace. I'd be okay with replacing him but if anyone is to succeed here, I'd like it to be him.

@cjhhhh21 @Taylor_NCL There were enough stories at the time to show we were interested and we wouldn't pursue a player that Eddie didn't want, they've made that clear before. I think Hopkinson will be great but needs to stop talking.

@Taylor_NCL @cjhhhh21 He was clearly a risk at the amount of money he'd cost and definitely no more than a prospect. It's worked out incredibly well for him so I'm sure if we signed him he would've had chances in front of the other two but that wouldn't be why they bought him

@cjhhhh21 @Taylor_NCL The winger the scouting department and executives were all happy to buy. Even if he was decent, we still needed improved back up. We don't know what caveats came with January spending, perhaps they didn't want the guarantee of selling multiple stars.

@Taylor_NCL @cjhhhh21 He wouldn't have been to replace him, he was an investment for the future. The club likely wouldn't want to spend that kind of money on a prospect with the impending psr issues that led to the stadium sale nonsense. You can't blame Howe for everything
