@ltsSiggy @SirSaadSays @METAPCs Reaction time does get better with higher fps if you're playing competitive games, which I don't. So it does not make a difference to me.

Would you rather game at: A) 360 FPS, everything on low B) 75 FPS, every setting maxed

@METAPCs People will rage over this but, I have a 5090 and I cap my FPS to 60 on purpose (except for VR games, then I do 120Hz). I don't want to overload my graphics card for something my eyes cannot even distinguish.

@TheChunkeyNinja Honestly it’s just an excuse it all come Down to them not wanting to flush the money out for it I’m sure if they tried hard enough they could easily get and engine upgrade out in a couple of years and I don’t think it would even take that long honestly.

I don't know what the technical challenges are but it really does seem strange that FF14 mobile exists and they haven't *yet at least* used the engine rebuild on PC and console. It just makes no sense to me to let another company make a better version of your game.

@mexican_sunbro I wish the gear design in general was just better like sometimes they put out good designs but 9 times out of 19 most of the stuff we get especially weapons look terrible. I feel like they are just a bit lazy in making good designs. Like monk weapons usually look so bad.

I feel like FFXIV's gear design problems could be alleviated if the devs made more than 1 set of Artifact gear per expansion. It'd take up more resources, but it'd be cool there were Artifact sets every new raid tier. It'd make weekly progression more exciting imo.

@FFXI_FFXIV It was mostly just the start of the xpac that was terrible running around helping out a clueless character that we have no bond to like ya let me go build this float ya let me go repair this train track it’s just terrible writing with no substance to it.

Kate was fired from the XIV team 6 months ago cause she couldnt stop yapping and cheering about the Charlie Kirk shooting. Regardless of your political stance, cheering over the murder of an innocent man is not a good look for busniess.
