@FamiuHaque Except he doesn't protect you from anything, requires you to keep the door unlocked and blows up your house if you cheat at monopoly

People defending Valorant's anti-cheat are like: "Why won't you let the cops with guns stay in your house 24/7, you filthy criminal? What, you don't want them having access to your private space all the time? Sounds like criminal-talk to me."

Riot Vanguard has way to much access to be trusted. "Oh just don't cheat, just don't install the game" I don't and won't. But this being normalized is abysmal. Thats without the threat of vanguard being compromised even being considered. Protect your privacy before its to late

@PastaLording Vanguard froze my old laptop on multiple occasions after an update. Well above recommended specs. Nothing even remotely strange or malicious running just crash logs for 'stopped responding'. Even when its working properly it isn't working properly.

@SomethingBanter @riotgames It’s the same as a game detecting you using a mouse when your input is a controller & disabling it. This is just a better protection.

Well, that escalated quickly. There’s been a wave of claims by cheaters about Vanguard “bricking” their PCs, so let’s clear that up: Vanguard does not damage hardware or disable your devices. The photo we posted is a picture of cheat hardware devices that are sold explicitly for cheating in VALORANT (not normal PCs or PC components). Through our latest updates, Vanguard now makes those devices worthless for VAL, but does not in any way brick PCs or PC components or PC software. Our latest update enforces standard platform security features, like the Input-Output Memory Management Unit (IOMMU), on accounts identified as using Direct Memory Access (DMA) cheating devices. These protections are already part of modern systems and when enabled, they block DMA cheat devices (such as those shown in the photo) from accessing memory in downstream applications, like our games. If a cheat setup continues attempting to cheat after those protections are enabled, the system may generate hardware faults or instability. This is expected behavior under IOMMU when attempts are made to read protected memory. Disabling IOMMU allows the cheat device to function again, but IOMMU will still be required to play our games. This means the cheat device won’t work with our games, but your PC isn’t “bricked.” We would not, and cannot, impact your PC’s functionality in any other fashion. This functionality only applies to systems attempting to use DMA cheat devices, and players who are not using DMA-based cheat setups are not affected. We’ll keep investing in anti-cheat to protect competitive integrity, and we’ll keep being as transparent as possible about how those systems work.

@PrivGokuBlack @StarKiller99K They are a multi billion dollar company. They can afford to play test their new features. Easier with more people properly allocated. Plus now people can say oh we dont need to fix the bug, cuz fortnite doesnt and they are still going.

@babyhcaz @Pirat_Nation Yep we should abandon producing anything for the general population because the military has already paid too much for a smaller item.

@Pirat_Nation This is cool but the US military has had radar equipment that is smaller and has a 360 degree coverage and also have you ever heard of a AGM-88 or equivalent. TAP stays being a suicide squad :(

A engineer named Nawfal Motii has open-sourced a complete DIY radar system called AERIS-10 that costs about 95% less to build than commercial radars of 250,000 dollars. It operates at 10.5 GHz and can detect objects up to 20 kilometers away. There are two versions: -The smaller Nexus model reaches up to 3 kilometers. -The larger Extended model reaches up to 20 kilometers. The full project includes all design files, circuit board layouts, code, and building instructions. This is an advanced project. Building it requires experience with electronics, radio design, and programming.

I'm sorry, but I just don't care. We've sent billions to Africa and all it does is create more starving Africans. They need to sort their shit out.

🇸🇩 In Sudan, more than 60% of the population is suffering from acute food shortages, with millions forced to eat leaves or animal feed to survive. According to the 2026 Humanitarian Needs and Response Plan, 61.7% of the population, around 28.9 million people, are acutely food-insecure. Tens of millions in Sudan are living on just one meal a day as the crisis deepens. The war between the Muslim Brotherhood-linked Sudanese Armed Forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, now entering its third year, has displaced millions and fueled one of the world’s largest humanitarian crises. Reports based on interviews with farmers, traders, and humanitarian workers describe how the war is pushing communities toward famine, driven by the collapse of agriculture and the use of starvation as a weapon, including the deliberate destruction of farms and markets. Aid systems are under severe strain. Communal kitchens are struggling to meet growing demand, while funding cuts are limiting the ability of humanitarian organizations to respond. Women and girls are among the most affected, facing heightened risks of violence and rapes when going to fields, markets, or even collecting water. After years of intense Gaza reporting, the international mainstream media is turning a blind eye to the suffering in Sudan. Why?

@AlexK_Sensetalk @Aku_700 It also specifies who your neighbor is. The old testament is very NO MIXING WITH GENTILES, and white European countries do far more for the poor than others.

@Aku_700 The Bible says to love your neighbour, welcome the stranger, and care for the poor—values many feel don’t align with your racist post. How do you reconcile that as a Christian?”

@AyoubMindset1 @billiongjgly Sharia law is blasphemy. Mohammed never met The Lord Jesus either. In fact sharia law states that Jesus was merely a prophet. Repent and believe the Gospel.

@billiongjgly Christians chill out! This is not the teachings of Jesus, but of Paul. The man who wrote half of the New Testament and changed the religion of Jesus yet he never met jesus. Jesus was Muslim! And he loves God’s Sharia Law.

a 58 year old guy just dropped the best take on vibe coding i've ever read. MD. PhD. triple board certified. been writing code since the 1970s. he said Claude Code is the biggest leap in programming he's seen in his entire career. and he's seen every single one. he said Claude Code feels like every major leap in programming history combined into one. the biggest shift he's seen in decades. he's using it to reverse engineer bus commands for his 25 year old Sony CD jukeboxes with ESP32 hardware. said doing it manually would have been "beyond laborious." then someone who had never coded before posted their first project. people started dogpiling on him for messy HTML and having a donation link. his response: who cares if it's messy HTML. the guy is posting about discovering he can build things late in life. and people are checking for em-dashes to decide if he's a bot. more good has been built for the world because of vibe coding than slop has ever been produced. we should be celebrating that, not criticizing it.

@Val3n_BarranTes @UziDcraft I ran a bedrock server for a while. It has its pros and cons. Bedrock servers handle scaling lots worse. 100 mobs is no sweat on java, on bedrock its basically a world ending event. My point being that lag/desync is a lot easier to generate than you think unless managed well.
