We strongly condemn the brutal murder of Chandranath Rath in Madhyamgram tonight, along with the killing of three other TMC workers in incidents of post-poll violence allegedly carried out by BJP-backed miscreants over the last three days, despite the Model Code of Conduct being in force. We demand the strongest possible action in this matter, including a court-monitored CBI investigation so that those responsible are identified and brought to justice without delay. Violence and political killings have no place in a democracy and the guilty must be held accountable at the earliest.

This is @BJP4India’s victory parade, drenched in the blood of innocent people. In Ward No. 1 of Alipurduar, BJP’s harmad bahini brutally assaulted an aged woman and left her bleeding profusely on the road. Have Narendra Modi and Amit Shah given their karyakartas a free licence to run riot and massacre innocent citizens in broad daylight? And where are Amit Shah’s Central Forces now? The same forces that were retained after the elections supposedly to ensure a “peaceful and violence-free” post-poll phase? Are they only there to facilitate this saffron gundagardi? BJP's violent face stands exposed. Bengal will not tolerate this barbarism. Every drop of blood shed will be answered.

Hundreds of VVPAT slips of Booth No. 29 located in Garulia, under 107- Noapara Assembly Constituency have been found in a garbage at Subhas Nagar under Duttapukur Police Station and under Madhyamgram Assembly Constituency. How is it possible? The VVPAT slips must have been kept with the concerned EVM at the strong room but it has been thrown in garbage. I request the @ECISVEEP and @CEOWestBengal to look into this and identify the culprits responsible for this incident. And also ensure that the counting process is not vitiated. @SpokespersonECI

As expected - बंगाल चुनाव खत्म होने के अगले ही दिन TMC का चुनावी कैंपेन देख रही IPAC के निदेशक विनेश चंदेल को निचली अदालत से जमानत मिली।चुनाव के दौरान ED ने मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग का आरोप लगाकर विनेश चंदेल को गिरफ्तार किया। चुनाव खत्म होते की ED ने विनेश की जमानत का विरोध नहीं किया और निचली अदालत से ही ज़मानत मिल गई।ED की वजह से चुनावों में I Pac और TMC के चुनावी कैंपेन पर काफ़ी हद तक असर पड़ा।

Too frail to walk unaided, his son tried to help him into the booth. Central Forces pushed and manhandled both. The old man collapsed, was rushed to Amta Hospital and declared dead on arrival. Since dawn, these Central Forces have been terrorising ordinary citizens- slapping women, assaulting the elderly, attacking even children. This is the SITALKUCHI MENTALITY of 2021: cold-blooded, merciless violence against unarmed civilians. BJP paid a heavy price for the blood of innocents in 2021.
