The Hon. Prime Minister Gaston Browne and Foreign Minister, the Hon. E. P Chet Greene welcomed a four member delegation from the Economic Commission of Latin American and the Caribbean (ECLAC). The delegation forms part of the technical assistance framework of the institution.

Antigua & Barbuda and Estonia Establish Diplomatic Relations

The Canadian government wishes to strongly advise travelers to Canada who have newly issued E-passports to REFRAIN from travelling with both passports. Rather, persons are advised to transfer the visa counterfoil to the new passport to avoid delays at the airport when boarding.

Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Trade Minister, Hon. E.P Chet Greene, says the Antigua and Barbuda government believes that there is ample room for further cooperation with the Dominican Republic, especially in areas such as trade.

The Governments of Antigua and Barbuda and the Republic of Kosovo signed agreements simultaneously establishing diplomatic relations and abolishing visa requirements. The agreements were signed by Ambassador, Sir Ronald Sanders, and Ambassador, Vlora Citaku.

Antigua and Barbuda has again signaled its unwavering support for Venezuela, the host of the Ministerial Meeting of the Coordinating Council of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), which concluded in Caracas, the Venezuelan capital.
