Dr Aynsley Cowie PhD is a consultant physiotherapist in cardiology within NHS Ayrshire and Arran, Scotland. Aynsley is BACPR’s Education and Training Lead. She is also a research officer for the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Cardiac Rehabilitation (ACPICR) and regularly teaches on the BACPR/ACPICR Physical Activity in Heart Failure course
