@Faithful2Pray @Oldtimers365 We also had one in almost every room. We did get along, but had very different tastes in television.

We had 6. One in each bedroom. One in the kitchen. One in the living room. One in the dining room. We did not get along as a family. So after dinner, we all went to our separate areas of the house like rats when you turn the lights on. The clerk at the grocery store always marveled when my mom bought 5 TV Guides each week.🤦🏻‍♀️

Classic Karen moment: This woman storms the HOA board demanding a ban on scented dryer sheets because the fragrance “permeates the block” and hurts her delicate sensitivities. Meanwhile, the rest of us just want clean clothes without a committee vote. HOAs: where grown adults debate laundry like it’s the UN Security Council. Peak suburbia tyranny. 🤣

@MTrucksa @HistorianUSA1 Your curtains can be any color you want! They just have to be lined with whatever color they specify. It really does look better from the outside.

is that what the HOA considers its biggest problem? must be a pretty good place to be if now they're picking on dryer sheets. Used to be HOA's used to just say you have to have white/ecru/beige curtains instead of every color on the spectrum (to make it not so tacky). or you cant have a car oil change in your driveway etc. Now they're picking on that???

@HistorianUSA1 @OCpatriot_ I have to use the unscented dryer sheets for myself, but I still use the scented ones for my husband’s clothes. I love walking outside and smelling them!

@strangeEXI @hell_line0 That’s crude, but isn’t it always a transaction of some sort? No one stays in a relationship if they aren’t getting something out of it. It doesn’t have to be monetary value.

@hell_line0 Tbh this is the kind of woman who just needs to name her price and simplify the transaction for everyone, why all the drama? Prostitutes should just be up front!

I just saw a woman explain why she doesnt do 50/50 on dates and her reasoning gagged me. She said : if i go alone id be paying for my meal, and if go on a date and pay 50/50 id still be paying for my meal so why would i want to get dressed up, spend energy on emotional labor, holding conversations, entertaining my date, if im just gonna pay for my own food anyway? Id rather wear my yoga set and scroll uninterrupted. And couldnt have said that any better!!!

@annamasm @Akwa_Ugo_ @hell_line0 It’s a date. The man pays. That’s how it has worked for years and is fine. If you can’t afford it, plan a date with an inexpensive activity and pack a picnic. I’d rather do that than go 50/50.

@Shreyansh3951 @hell_line0 No. She’s right. It may sound old fashioned but the man should absolutely pay the bill. If he wants to split the check 50/50 he should go out with his friends instead of asking a female on a presumably romantic date.
