Evil Dead idea:
In the late 1400s, a Native American tribe stands their ground against a Pilgrim crew who have washed ashore and, in an attempt to communicate with the natives, discover the Necronomicon and unleash hell upon them.
Title: "Evil Dead Conquer"

@FootTimed The stakes, the intent, I mean even the plot itself is much different. Not to say Prey is a bad film, its actually my favorite of the Predator franchise, but i think id look to that purely as how to properly respect native cultures in horror films.

@FootTimed I mean in that Native Americans would be the protagonists, sure. Prey handled that really well and I think the Yautja are significantly different from Deadites, seeing as they are purely hunting for sport rather than evil/malicious means.

@PTLemonade I think that would culminate with Evil Dead Infest, ala a plague allegory, building the means of what *will* be the intent to return and overtake America from the natives by working its way up the chain in Europe.
That would be my trilogy, I think

@PTLemonade And that is like, the rest of the crew the previous antagonists were washed afar from finding a survivor, not knowing its possessed, taking it back to Europe and it all goes berserk on the way back aboard the ship.

@Nyemuul Thank you, and I completely agree, I think that reinforced that evil is universal and the fight against it breaks down barriers to unite people beyond race, religion, heritage, everything. It opens your mind to so many beautiful and fascinating things

@ACWIsHere that was actually one of my favorite parts of ash vs, it added a lot to world imo. i was devastated when i found out the show was cancelled, hopefully we do get more of that in new projects. your idea does sound really cool

@Nyemuul Absolutely, I truthfully wanted to see more of the Brujo in Ash vs Evil Dead and loved that they treated Pablo's heritage with such amazing mysticism. I think branching into other cultures, and seeing how their foundation combats evil, is such a rich way to broaden your audience.

@ACWIsHere it really would be awesome to see another project filmed in an indigenous language, maybe even the deadites speaking their tongue in some scenes. evil dead is one of those franchises i do think would benefit from expanding with more perspectives
