my best friend is five months pregnant and i went with her to her anatomy scan today. the clinic told her to drink 32 ounces of water an hour beforehand and not use the bathroom until after the scan. we get there on time, check in, and then the receptionist calmly tells us the technician is running forty-five minutes behind schedule. Forty- five. whole. minutes. i watched my poor friend literally vibrating in her chair, doing a miniature seating dance, and staring at the water cooler in the corner like it was an active enemy. she looked at me with tears in her eyes and whispered, "if i sneeze right now, this entire clinic is getting evacuated." making a pregnant woman show up with a painfully full bladder and then forcing her to sit on a plastic chair past her appointment time should honestly violate the geneva convention. the medical field needs to figure out a better system because this is pure survival horror.

I want to speak very honestly about something that will probably ruffle some feathers, but here it goes. Sometime ago, I realized that my inward faith should mimic my outward reality. When that hit me, I knew I had to change my life. I wanted my children to see something better. I wanted to set myself apart from societal standards. That was going to mean covering up my body more than the average gal. It meant going above and beyond to cover the parts of my body that God made for my husband alone. I’m not out here trying to be the modesty police. And I’m not here with a ruler checking hemlines and lording over cleavage. It was just inner conviction that took over. I wanted to set an example for my children and for the women who saw me. You can show beauty without showing your skin. And really, mainly for my own children. If I’m romping around in a skimpy bathing suit, then I am giving them permission to do the same. And why would we want to do that? To attract the gaze of men. And why would we want men lusting after us? Why would I want a man lusting after my daughters? Gross. Why would I want to show my boys that lust is a permissible way to find a future partner? I don’t. Anyway, this isn’t a post of judgment. Truly. Just maybe an inward reflection of the heart. My heart hasn’t always been HERE. I understand the brokenness of the female spirit. I understand the desire for validation and affirmation. But those come from wounds that Our Father can heal. Praying for all of you today. ❤️

@BretWeinstein It's absurd that the default stance on Hep B vaccines for newborns is essentially, "We don’t know the mother’s status, so let’s vaccinate every baby just in case." Why not run a simple blood test on the mother? It’s not like she’s unavailable during pregnancy or delivery. 🤦‍♂️

Any argument for a vaccine dose that does not begin with a cost/benefit analysis in which the risk of the shot is understood to be greater than zero—is propaganda. Not only can it be safely ignored. It would be unsafe NOT to ignore it.

I was fired yesterday by @RichardGrenell from the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. One month ago, I was recruited to join the Kennedy Center as a Vice President. My firing came approximately two hours after @CNN sent an email asking me to comment on my past writings and statements about traditional marriage and homosexual influence in the @GOP. Here is the response I sent to @CNN: “It is an honor to work at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and with the many amazing people who are employed here. Comments rooted in my personal Christian views, which I have made in the past, have no impact upon my work here at the Kennedy Center nor do they impinge on my interactions with colleagues who do incredible work for the patrons of the Center. As a Christian I am called to work with others of different beliefs and worldviews. I am honored to work for President of the Kennedy Center, Ambassador @RichardGrenell and Chairman of the Kennedy Center, President @realDonaldTrump . I am united with them in their mission to bring wholesome entertainment showcasing the best of performing arts and music to America. It was truly not my intention to offend anyone with my comments. My beliefs are much more common to Biblical Christianity. My only conclusion is @RichardGrenell was intimidated by a @CNN story, which hasn’t been aired or published, so he preemptively fired me for my Christian beliefs on marriage.

On the IRS.gov website, the "log in" button was not in the top right on the navbar like it is on most websites. It was weirdly placed in the middle of the page below the fold. An IRS engineer explained that the *soonest* this change could get deployed is July 21st... 103 days from now. This engineer worked with the DOGE team to delete the red tape and accomplished the task in 71 minutes. See before/after pictures below. There are great people at the IRS, who are simply being strangled by bureaucracy.
