@ADSRelease @PippengerHarlo Yes. SF had an inclusionary zoning requirement that was pretty outlandish of 10% but it got buildings built.
They doubled it to 20% and buildings stopped getting built.
They killed the goose cause its eggs weren’t big enough.

SF is going to cut inclusionary zoning to 5%. Very stupid to do at a time when we just did a massive upzoning and rents are booming.

@BigMeanInternet The electoral side hopes they can win them over. The labor side is helping lead reform caucuses within them, like that brought about Shawn Fain. I think it works to do both but I think they often don’t talk to each other to find a maximal cooperative model.
