MCOOL could have been implemented in the same way under various National Security authorities considering it is a SEVERE National Security threat to American Citizens that they still don’t know where their food is coming from A VOLUNTARY label does not solve this threat 2. MCOOL Bill A snowflake has a better chance surviving in Hell than the current MCOOL bill getting out of the Agriculture Committee. Almost every single member of the Ag Committee is totally controlled by the Big Packers via the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) Unless a fresh MCOOL bill is reintroduced in a different committee, citing specific national security concerns, the BigPacker lobby will do ANYTHING they can to block it via members they control. Exactly one year ago today, Austin Metcalf was murdered in broad daylight. The man responsible is now sitting at home on house arrest - enjoying freedom and time with his family.
