Our Curiosity Mars rover has been studying the Red Planet since it first touched down on Gale Crater back in 2012. Now, a new analysis has revealed the most diverse collection of organic molecules ever found on Mars—informing our search for ancient life: nasa.gov/missions/mars-…

This data by itself can't be used to prove whether these organic molecules were created by biologic or geologic processes, but this finding does add to the growing list of organic compounds that we know can be preserved in the ancient rocks of Mars. Drill into the details: go.nasa.gov/3QiG52h

Only one chance in this lifetime… Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him. I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

Also a system cannot memorize all facts, and it cannot guarantee that its past-trained regularities hold in novel future situations and this is not a flaw that scales away ... it is intrinsic to operating in our universe. AGI, ASI,... What have you not must be done on a much higher level, like a sun type of system of sorts, that sees all but we'll need a lot more understanding and power for that. But it ultimately comes down to what one perceives as AGI, ASI, ....
