Can't believe I missed this, but the Spurs literally have Rashard Lewis on their coaching staff, the guy who the domino effect that led to the Thunder getting Shai Gilgeous-Alexander started with.
Thunder trade Lewis to the Magic for a 2009 second-round pick and a trade exception.
OKC later uses the trade exception to acquire Serge Ibaka in the 2008 NBA Draft.
After that, the Thunder traded Ibaka for Victor Oladipo and a pick that OKC grabbed Domantas Sabonis with.
Later, the Thunder traded Sabonis and Oladipo for Paul George.
And finally, OKC trades Paul George for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and a gazillion Clippers’ draft picks, which would later include Jalen Williams.

Jaxson Dart seems to be a good young man. He can support whoever he pleases, but that support affirms certain things to his locker room. Abdul Carter should have handled things differently, but his disappointment is understandable.
The President has clearly picked a side, & standing next to him gives the impression that you have to. Which means you stand in direct opposition of the majority of your teammates. It’s a conversation to be had behind closed doors, but it is an important conversation.

I’m a Conservative Republican who will vote for @davidjollyfl over @ByronDonalds if the election were held today, but this isn’t the message that guarantees that in November.
Make no mistake @GovRonDeSantis has and will leave Florida better than he found it. Florida is the epitome of personal liberty and public safety. I lived elsewhere and moved here because of the DeSantis governing model.
The message that does resonate with me and my family is on the cost of living. @RonDeSantis has fought to improve that with property tax reform, but, under the failed leadership of @Daniel_PerezFL, @FLGOPMajority has stonewalled the governor with political gamesmanship.
I would encourage Congressman Jolly to stop appealing to the looney left. Be a pragmatic solution oriented option. Liberal lamentations of Governor DeSantis will only turn off swing voters like me.

The redistricting of the congressional map is a direct assault on the voting rights act. There’s a bigger fix needed that’s so much bigger than the “Black athlete”. The NAACP “Out of bounds” initiative does have a historical foundation though. I’m torn because young people have often led the most impactful movements, but we can’t lay this solely at the feet of those athletes.
We have to respect that college athletes now have a chance to impact generations of family members. There needs to be a focus on the total plan to affect change, & that begs the question… “What will others sacrifice to take a stand?”.
