Eze on the left for the rest of the season please, Mikel.
You can see how he turns into one of the best players in the world out there.
As a #10, he is crowded out and plays at unfavourable angles. Forget that.
Let him create, dribble, pass, shoot, drift, and arrive.

Anyway, enough about Arsenal and Gyökeres. My excitement for the project is on hold until the club deliver in full for Mikel. Eze or Rodrygo, next. Timing, value, certainty, and availability, I’m going for Eze. Madueke on top of that would be excellent too.

Every connection needs to change club. Which stops people just linking to the club then finding overlaps within that club.

How would you describe Odegaard's play there being left footed?
And could you give a reason not to swap Rice and Odegaard around as 8s?

Also, it's mad the difference it makes not having a left-footer (Xhaka) at LCM. The passing angles completely change - you go from naturally curving passes towards goal to away from it.
We talk about that a lot with LCBs but less so LCMs

Been watching some 22/23 Arsenal footage and I think the loss of Gabriel Jesus upfront for Kai Havertz doesn't get spoken about enough, on its impact on the attack. Jesus' dynamicism, attempting nearly 5 take-ons p90, his speed, his unpredictable movement, the flicks and quick link-up play... It just gave Arsenal this increased tempo in the final third. Helped create a bit of chaos. Also, he could just create goals out of absolutely nothing. Now ask yourself: how many Arsenal players have you used the above terms to describe them, in the past year or so?
