A little late but Dylan Holloway re-signed with #STLBlues 5 years, $7.8M AAV. We're working on offseason projections but our midseason projection was 5 years, $7.2M. This contract coming in above midseason makes sense as he had a very strong finish to the season.

@KevinMcCurdy @ShawnNeedsTweet I beg people to use AFP for contract projections. Murphy will be closer to 3 than 5. Kapanen will be 2-2.5 Dickinson will be over 3 because there's a severe C market.

@Muccisareflyin If we were to rewind to 7/1/25, and none of the past season has happened yet, it’d be the same contract projection outcome. That’s the point. Vladar has exceeded everyone’s expectations. We aren’t doubling down, you’re upset by a post from last offseason as if we just posted it.

Since Flyers fans seem to want to call this out as a gotcha moment - Good for the team for identifying someone they felt would excel in their system. What doesn't change - it was still an overpayment based on comparable contracts and past performance.
