The Trump administration just filed a brief before the U.S. Supreme Court arguing employers can honor medical exemptions while denying religious exemptions to Americans of faith.
Let that sink in. Your sincerely held religious beliefs can now be treated as less worthy of protection than a medical preference.
After years of talking about “religious freedom,” they are now arguing your faith can be treated as less worthy of protection than a medical condition.
Religious liberty is not real if the government decides which beliefs deserve rights.
