@hamandcheese Good question on salary and retainers.... Look forward to seeing the disclosures before making my judgment about which option is better or cushier. In my experience... very few vocations are more cushy than a think tank.

Sure, many people take jobs in areas they care about (or are told to care about) but what is he actually doing about it? If things are so drastic, why is their no real urgency or solutions to mitigate this immediate crisis he claims are around the corner??? This reminds of me of telecom activists claiming Ajit Pai was going to "destroy the internet" but all they did was tweet.....

Giving up a cushy job to go to more happy hours is hardly preparing for pending doom.

If you really believe this, you are being incredibly pedestrian in your response. If you truly believe this you would move heaven and earth to stop the disaster. Yet all we see from you are armchair posts and no action. Come on Brad, do better to save the world.

We need real, commonsense rules for AI, but we can’t slam the brakes on progress while we figure it out. We’re in a Cold War with China on AI. Like it or not, technology is rapidly changing healthcare in America. I am honored to serve on the Healthcare Advisory Committee to support Secretary Kennedy and Administrator Oz at this important moment.
